What this fixture is for

The CHIA-8430-10W is rated at 10W, delivering 1300Lm, on a SMD2835 chip, with a colour rendering index of Ra80. Length and pole sizes: Customizable within 2000mm. Beam angle 110° gives a wide wash — use it to light a whole shelf or back panel evenly rather than to accent one object. It runs on 12V. The body is machined from aluminium, so it dissipates heat inside a closed cabinet instead of cooking the merchandise.

Specifying it correctly

Colour temperature: available in 3000K / 4000K / 6000K — 3000K for gold and warm wood, 4000K for steel, silver and watches, 6000K for diamonds, crystal and glass.
Beam angle: 110°. Choose by object size, not by brightness; a beam that is too wide flattens the display and one that is too narrow leaves hot spots with dark gaps.
Power: 12V — low voltage, so the track is safe to touch inside a customer-reachable cabinet. Size the driver with headroom rather than running it at 100%.
