A pole spotlight stands on a slim aluminium stem inside the cabinet, so the light source sits close to the merchandise and the head can be aimed after the cabinet is built. It is the usual choice when the case has no ceiling void for recessed fittings, or when the display is changed often and the aiming has to move with it.
Use a pole light when the cabinet has a solid top or no recess depth, when the display is re-merchandised weekly, or when you need the beam to come in from the side rather than straight down. Pole-mounted heads also keep heat away from the merchandise better than a fitting buried in a shallow ceiling.
Decide on adjustability first. A fixed head is cheaper and holds its aim. A rotating head lets staff re-aim after every display change. A zoomable head (beam angle adjusted on the fixture) is worth the extra cost when one store carries both small stones and large objects — one SKU covers both.
Stem height sets the beam spread. The higher the stem, the wider the pool on the tray but the lower the intensity. Tell us the internal height of the case and we will size the wattage and beam angle to it — that is the fastest way to avoid a sample round.
Finish matters more than people expect. Black disappears against a dark interior; silver and white read as part of the joinery in a light fit-out. We keep both in stock and can match a custom finish on OEM runs.
